The line of credit granted to the CBZ Bank is intended to support the realization of of a social housing project and subsequently, the granting of credits mortgage to the beneficiaries of the said project. For the construction, the line of credit will be used to finance infrastructure and construction. the civil engineering work related to the social housing project, including the site is located in the city of Gweru. On some of the serviced plots, the bank has built social housing units that are offered for sale to the public. The remaining remediated parcels will also be offered for sale. to buyers who wish to build their own homes according to the plan of approved urban development for the city. The CBZ Bank is the largest financial institution in Zimbabwe as evaluated on the basis of a certain number of parameters, including the basis of its financial.
